Free copies of The Oracles of Troy…

The Oracles of Troy has now been converted to e-book format for the Kindle and other e-readers. There are a couple of wrinkles to iron out, but I’m excited to say it should be finished within a few days. That only leaves the cover. I received the first draft a couple of days ago and am really pleased with it. I’d even say it’s the best cover in the series so far! The artist is Justine Elliot, an experienced cover designer from New Zealand – www.booklayoutguru.com – and she has produced something that’s very eye-catching and still focuses on the main theme of the book (which doesn’t always happen with book covers). If everything goes to plan the release date will be in the second or third week of October. Watch this space for more info.

That gives me around three weeks for some final proof reading, which brings me to the title of this post. Now the book is in an e-book format, I’m looking for a few good men and women to read Oracles before it’s unleashed on the general public. If:

  • you’ve read King of Ithaca, The Gates of Troy and The Armour of Achilles,
  • you’re able to read Oracles on a Kindle or other e-reader within the next couple of weeks,
  • you’re willing to send me a list of any errors you find (I’m not looking for editorials here, just typos etc), and
  • you are happy to leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads when the book is released

then please get in touch via the Contact page. In return, you’ll be one of the first to read the book and I’ll include your name in the Acknowledgements page.

The catch is I’m only giving away five copies. The happy few will be pulled from a hat in a few days time. Best of luck!
